The SCSFA is going mobile as it is soliciting bids for a trailer mounted mobile digital message board. Approval for acquiring the mobile message board came as a result of a recent amendment to our 2013 SAFER grant through the Department of Homeland Security. The digital sign will be trailer mounted for utilization across the state by member departments. The sign will enhance department’s abilities for displaying and communicating their volunteer firefighter recruitment/retention efforts as well as for fire safety and community risk management messages.
