Seeking applicants for SC Firefighter Mobilization Oversight Committee

The South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association is seeking one person to fill a three-year term on the SC Firefighter Mobilization Oversight Committee. Six of the seats on this committee are appointed by the Governor upon written recommendation by the Association. The Oversight Committee is an integral part of SC State Fire in establishing and maintaining plans for Firefighter Mobilization and the Emergency Response Task Force. Letters of interest should be sent to [email protected] and must be received by 0900 on Tuesday, Sept. 7. Your letter should include the name of the department you are affiliated with, experiences or qualifications that would make you an asset to the committee, and a demonstrated understanding of the commitment of being on the committee.
