Social Media and Content Intern

Summary

This position will strive to always promote the benefits of all entities of the South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association to all members that they engage in through the course of their duties. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Social media content delivery
  • Includes: 
    • Ability to identify platform trends and apply them to our content
    • Developing content strategy
    • Writing copy
    • Designing accompanying graphics
    • Maintaining content calendar to ensure regular and relevant member-focused content
• Website design and maintenance

• App design and maintenance
  • Includes:
    • Push notifications via SCFirefighters app
    • Assist with the development of and communications for the Fire-Rescue app
    • Adding content for the PeerConnect app
• Analyze, interpret, and report social media data, website data, and app data
  • Includes:
    • Year over year social metrics
    • Year over year Fire-Rescue app data
    • Year over year Fire-Rescue attendance data
    • Year over year Fire-Rescue voting data
• Press releases and FireWire articles
  • Includes:
    •  
• Graphic design
  • Includes:
    • Social graphics
    • Print flyers
    • Brochures
    • Fire-Rescue print packet
• Video production
  • Includes:
    • Storyboarding
    • Filming
    • Logistics to include scheduling interviews
    • Editing
• Photography
  • Includes: all major trainings and events with occasional special event photography
• Other duties as assigned
