Poplar Springs is currently hiring for one (1) full time firefighter position. This position works a 48-96 schedule. You can go to our website for the job description. Candidates must be 18 years old, FFII, current CPR, Auto Extrication, High School Diploma or GED and a Valid Driver's License. The Poplar Springs Fire Department offers an excellent benefit package to include PORS retirement, full family health coverage (Health, Vision, and Dental), employee short-and long-term disability and Life Insurance. Qualifying candidates will be notified and will need to be prepared to take a physical agility test, written exam and interview on March 13th at 8:30am.
