Join our friends at Fluor Field on Sunday, September 8th for one of their favorite annual gameday traditions at Fluor Field – the First Responder’s Day celebration event. First Responders Day is always one of the most special & inspiring events of the year at Fluor Field; a day we set aside to celebrate & recognize all First Responders throughout the community for their commitment, courage, and sacrifice.
This year’s First Responder’s Day will be filled with special content to recognize our community’s First Responder’s plus family fun entertainment at the ballpark all afternoon long. The fun starts at 1 p.m. on District 356 with "Heroes Alley" – a hands-on experience perfect for families and kids featuring patrol cars, fire apparatus, EMS vehicles, inflatables, music, games, and more. Ballpark gates open at 2 p.m. with first pitch of the Drive game scheduled for 3 p.m. First responder celebration & recognition moments will fill the entire Drive baseball game.
And this year’s First Responder’s Day event will be especially exciting as immediately following the Drive game, Fluor Field will host the annual Heroes Softball Game between the Greenville City Fire Department and Greenville Police Department! Bragging rights are always on the line when the Police & Fire Departments face off. This will be an event you surely don’t want to miss. Anyone with a ticket to the First Responders Drive game can stay free-of-charge at the ballpark for the Softball event. And then following the Softball game, all fans are welcome to come down on the field for a special opportunity to run the bases with Drive players, coaches, and First Responder’s themselves.
As their way of saying thank you, all First Responders receive up to 2 complimentary tickets to the Drive game on September 8th PLUS a $5 ballpark voucher upon arrival at the ballpark. To claim your complimentary tickets & also purchase additional tickets, follow the instructions below:
