UNC Motion Science Institute Cancer Survey

Cancer is a critical issue within the fire service. Due to the harsh conditions firefighters face while on the job, they are at an increased risk of developing cancer.

We invite you to take part in an anonymous survey titled “The Impact of Cancer-Related Fatigue Among Firefighters in Cancer Remission,” conducted by our partner, the UNC Motion Science Institute. Your participation helps advance understanding and support for firefighters affected by cancer.

Overall Objectives: 

• Understand the impact of cancer-related fatigue among firefighters in cancer remission.
• Inform strategies to support firefighter health, performance, and quality of life.

Who’s Eligible:

• Current or former U.S. structural firefighters (career or volunteer) in cancer remission.

Taking the Survey:

• The survey can be completed on any computer or tablet, not your mobile phone.
