Representative Chip Huggins from Lexington District 85 has filled three bills in the House that, if passed, will allow volunteer firefighters to get free DNR hunting licenses, free entrance into the State Museum and free entrance into any State Park. This is a great way for our state to say "thank you" to over 11,000 volunteer firefighters who get little or no compensation for their efforts. These bills will also create a new recruiting tool for fire departments seeking new volunteers. Please contact your representatives and ask them to support these bills.
