Firefighters and first responders regularly experience repeated stress and trauma that can impact resilience and wellbeing over time. “The Power of Hope: Strengthening Resilience and Wellbeing in First Responders” is a free training course designed to explore how hope plays a critical role in building resilience, purpose, and support systems within the fire service.
The course from the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) covers Dr. Richard Snyder’s Hope Theory and examines topics including trauma, moral injury, peer support, leadership, and mentorship.
