Technical Rescuer Pilot

The S.C. Fire Academy is seeking students for the new Technical Rescuer (3310) pilot on January 20-22, 2016 at the Columbia campus. This revised program, when combined with the Introduction to Technical Rescue (3309) provides the students with the foundation to technical rescue and meets the NFPA 1006 (Chapter 4 and 5) standard. Topics include ropes and rigging, anchors and mechanical advantage systems, ladder gins and patient care and packaging.
