South Carolina State Firefighters' Association seeks new team member

The South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association is seeking a highly motivated person to join the team of member service professionals by adding the new position of Director of Operations. The Director of Operations reports directly to the Executive Director and supports the advocacy, education, safety, and fire service collaboration functions of the mission of the Association.  The Director of Operations will be the hub of outreach programs for which the Association is known.  The delivery of programs involving SC Fire-Rescue, the Leadership Institute, FAST and LAST programs, training events, Association Sections, and Recruitment and Retention; will be driven by the Director of Operations while working with some of the most motivated and skilled product development and delivery professionals in the fire service.   The best candidate for the Director of Operations is the individual driven by passion for the profession, for making a difference in the lives of firefighters, and for serving others.  The Director of Operations will represent the Association, through actions and presence, and serve as a model of servant leadership for which the SC State Firefighters’ Association is known.
