South Carolina OSHA Emergency Response Coalition met on November 6, 2024

The South Carolina OSHA Emergency Response Coalition, comprised of key stakeholders from fire and emergency services, association partners, private industry, and government, met for the first time last week. The meeting served as both an educational session for those outside of emergency services and a collaborative discussion on next steps.

We are proud to proactively work together with members of the Coalition to address concerns found in the proposed OSHA Emergency Response standard. Thanks to all who attended.

The group intends to meet again before the end of the year.
