SCSFA's Leading Ladies Part II

April 7, 2021

The South Carolina Firefighters’ Association staff is passionate about the Association’s mission to serve the state’s bravest. Last week we spotlighted Ashley, Zorrina and Marcia – this week, meet the other half of SCSFA’s leading ladies.

Jana Kassianos, 1% Accounting Services – [email protected]; 803.939.5900

Jana has been serving the Palmetto State’s firefighters in various roles at the SCSFA since 2014. She started out as Member Services and transitioned to One Percent Accounting Services in 2017. Outside of SCSFA, you can find Jana at a swim competition for her eldest daughter, Jaiden. She’s married to Nick, and their children are Jaiden, Alexa and Jackson.

Contact Jana for membership and One Percent fund questions.

Patti Graham, FAST & Retention Coordinator – [email protected]; 803.968.9336

Patti’s journey to SCSFA started when she was born; her father was firefighter before he passed. Her father’s passing inspired Patti, so much so that she is now a volunteer firefighter for the Boiling Springs Fire District. She is married to Boiling Springs Fire Chief Steve Graham. Patti’s role at the Association is vital, serving as the Firefighter Assistance and Support Team (FAST) and Retention Coordinator.

Contact Patti if you want to get involved with FAST.

Brook Mixson, Communications Coordinator – [email protected]; 803.832.2148

Like Patti, Brook was born into the fire service. Her grandfather, the late Fire Chief Gene Rushing, was the first chief of the Hampton County Fire-Rescue. In the town he served for nearly four decades, Estill, sits the Gene E. Rushing fire station. Brook was raised by Gene and his wife, Joan, and can testify first-hand to the selflessness of firefighters.

Contact Brook if you want to feature a firefighter or department on FireWire and Association social media.
