SCSFA Foundation Update

The South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association Foundation is gearing up for an exciting summer. After the COVID pandemic put a stop to in-person events in 2020, Foundation Trustees are excited to see you soon.

During the 2021 Fire-Rescue Conference, the Foundation is happy to announce the return of its golf tournament. The details are to be announced and the Trustees hope to see you at tee time. Registration for the tournament will be available at firerescuesc.org.

At a Columbia Fireflies game in July, the Foundation is going to be recognized as the Community Organization of the game. This family event is a great way to support the Foundation while enjoying America’s favorite pastime and catching up with your firefighter brothers and sisters.

And last but not least, the Foundation asks for your support through Midlands Gives. Donations are being accepted now or you are invited to join us virtually on May 4 for Midlands Gives Day. Gifting to the Foundation means that you are directly assisting the state’s fire service by providing scholarships for firefighters and their families, stress management services for firefighters, assistance to families of firefighter families when there is a line of duty death and provide professional and leadership training for firefighters to further their careers.
