Retirement Plan participants: Information about your retirement plan account

Participants in the South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association Retirement Plan and Trust and Length of Service Awards Program (LOSAP) received an email last week detailing important information about the retirement plan account.

It was announced in 2023 that the Retirement Board of Trustees voted to transition the Plan’s Third-Party Administrator (TPA) services from Toledano and Associates, Inc. to Milliman.

The message Plan participants received last week provided information on the Milliman website including where to access forms, how to reach our One Percent Retirement Account Coordinator Kim Bowman, and step-by-step instructions on the new participant distribution election process.

Additionally, fire chiefs of departments participating in the Plan received a second email outlining how to maintain retirement account records with Milliman.
