Red Cross: Disaster Action Team volunteers needed

The American Red Cross is in need of volunteers to serve as Disaster Action Team Volunteers. These positions are needed around the state.

• The Red Cross Disaster Action Team volunteers respond to disasters in the local community, around the clock, 365 days a year.
• They respond to support the victims of fires, floods, and severe weather related events.
• They provide for the immediate disaster caused needs of the disaster victims to include food, shelter and clothing.
• They are the leaders in the local Red Cross and the face of the Red Cross to the local community.
