Please join the Association Executive Committee and Staff, in our remembrance of the passing on Sunday October first, of our friend, mentor, and Past President Skip Hannon.
Past President Hannon had to come SC from Pennsylvania with Mack Trucks of Winnsboro. But he quickly he became a true firefighter of South Carolina. Skip taught many of us in Fire Academy courses and led us as a friend and instructor.
His passion, dedication, and untiring devotion to this profession and this Association - right up to the end, will be missed.
Visitation will be on Thursday October 5, 2017 from 5 pm - 8 pm at Platt Springs United Methodist Church. (3215 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia, S.C.) The funeral will be on Friday October 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at Platt Springs UMC. For more details, click HERE.
Cancer has won this battle. But with the memory of Skip, and others gone before; we will commit this legacy to our fight to win the war. Never forget has many faces. We add Skip to that category this day.
