Mission BBQ hosting fundraiser for Foundation

Mission BBQ prides itself on good food and top-notch service, but what founders Bill Kraus and Steve Newton want you to take away from your experience at their restaurant is pride in the men and women who serve and protect our communities, including our firefighters.

The décor at Mission BBQ reflects this deep-rooted patriotism—the dining room is filled with tributes to America’s heroes. Bill and Steve opened the doors to the first Mission BBQ location on September 11, 2011, the 10^th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, in a symbolic move to reclaim the day our world changed forever.

Now, the restaurant is opening its doors to its new Columbia, South Carolina location, and is giving firefighters and their families a sneak preview of what Mission BBQ has to offer.

Mission BBQ Columbia is hosting Fire Department Charity Night on April 24, 2024 from 6-9 p.m. All proceeds from the night will benefit the South Carolina Firefighters Foundation.
