Membership Cards are being mailed

The new Association membership cards are being mailed this week to the fire department mailing address. It has been several years since the Association offered membership cards, and many of you have been asking for them ever since. Please inform your members these cards must be presented to gain access to Association events, such as the annual Fire Rescue Conference in Myrtle Beach.  These cards were printed based on data collected through the online membership database.  Every member on your roster that you listed as primary should get a card. Some of you will not receive a complete set of cards because the primary department field on your membership roster has not been updated. Please do so as soon as possible so we can print another batch of cards (that batch will not be completed before conference). If a member did not receive a card, he or she can still attend the conference. They will be issued a Guest badge in the registration area.  Many firefighters are members of multiple fire departments, but they should only receive a card from their primary department (the department that pays their dues).
