Staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the fire service industry is imperative in today’s fast-paced, ever-changing world. Educating yourself on the ins and outs of the South Carolina fire service is nearly impossible, but that’s what we’re here for.

Leadership Institute is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in your department and community.

The Leadership Institute experience:

• Covers a wide range of topics related to the fire service and exposes you to the issues facing departments of all sizes.
• Provides the opportunity to interact with other firefighters from across the state, sharing best practices and learning from each other's experiences.
• Takes into account the unique challenges and opportunities South Carolina firefighters and departments face. 
• Enhances the individual’s skills and knowledge while fostering an ownership of the overall improvement of the fire service industry in South Carolina.
