International Fire Sprinkler Day: May 19

In support of International Fire Sprinkler Day, South Carolina fire service organizations are conducting side by side demonstrations at the following locations and times;

These side by side burns clearly demonstrate the benefits of cost affordable residential fire sprinkler systems. As the unsprinklered side burns, it will be totally consumed within 3-4 minutes, making sustaining life impossible in a very short time..

The side that is equipped with a sprinkler, will activate and put the fire out, saving the contents and in real life, saving the lives of the occupants, with little to no damage from the fire and water.
