We know firefighters don’t do the job for awards, and that most would rather stay out of the spotlight altogether. But at the South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association, we have the opportunity to honor the dedication, professionalism, and hard work that makes the South Carolina fire service the best in the business.

If someone on your crew, in your department, or in your community has made a real impact this year, please consider submitting a nomination. It’s not about trophies; it’s about acknowledging the people who make the fire service better for all of us.

Nominations are open until January 31, 2026, and recipients will be recognized at Fire-Rescue 2026.
