Greenville County Chiefs Up the Ante with $5,000 Donation to the South Carolina Fire Heritage Center

November 11, 2025

The friendly rivalry continues — and the legacy of South Carolina’s fire service is all the stronger for it.

Following the Beaufort County Chief’s Association’s unanimous decision to donate $2,500 to the South Carolina Fire Heritage Center, the Greenville County Chief’s Association has stepped up in a big way, upping the challenge with a $5,000 donation in support of preserving our state’s firefighting history.

Their gift highlights a shared commitment among fire service leaders statewide to honor the past, educate the future, and protect the legacy of the men and women who have served with courage and dedication.

Now the question is — who’s next?

Whether it’s $50 or $5,000, every contribution helps safeguard priceless artifacts, support educational exhibits, and ensure that South Carolina’s firefighting story continues to inspire generations to come.
