Georgia-Pacific Bucket Brigade Grant

The 2017 Georgia-Pacific Bucket Brigade grant application period is open for a few more weeks, and we would appreciate your help in making sure eligible departments in South Carolina know about the program.

These are no-match grants of up to $10,000 that fund needed gear and equipment for fire departments in communities located within 30 miles of a Georgia-Pacific facility. Grants can be used to fund necessities such as turnout gear, breathing apparatus, water pumps, hoses and nozzles, and more. All applicants will also receive a complimentary department membership in the NVFC, courtesy of Georgia-Pacific.

There are Georgia-Pacific facilities in the following locations in South Carolina: Fairfax, Alcolu, McCormick, Prosperity, Darlington, and Spartanburg.

Fire departments in these communities or within 30 miles of these facilities can apply by going to www.gpbucketbrigade.com and submitting the online application by July 7, 2017.
