Fundraiser for Jerry Williams Memorial Plaza

The Jerry Williams Memorial Plaza on the grounds of South Carolina State Fire is a point of tremendous pride for the South Carolina fire service. Here, the legacy and lives of our fallen firefighters are cemented in history. Maintaining the beauty of the Memorial Plaza is a big part in how we make sure their memory lives on. 

In partnership with the South Carolina State Association of Fire Chiefs, we are hosting a fundraiser during Fire-Rescue, June 12-15, to support the Jerry Williams Memorial Plaza.  

Visit the Memorial Plaza and you will find hundreds of bricks laid to honor South Carolina firefighters. To pay homage to the bricks found around the Memorial Plaza, we are selling novelty bricks for you to take home as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our firefighters. Funds raised will contribute directly to the beautification and maintenance of the Jerry Williams Memorial Plaza.

Purchase your novelty brick outside of the Exhibit Hall during Fire-Rescue. All donors will be entered to win a drawing for a leather helmet. 

Make a $10 donation for 1 novelty brick and 1 entry into a leather helmet prize drawing; or donate $20 for 1 brick and three entries into the leather helmet prize drawing. 
 
The drawing for the leather helmet will take place on Saturday, June 15 at 12:30pm in the South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association’s booth. The winner does not need to be present to win.
