Free First Responder Safety Training for Alternative Fuel Vehicles
November 5, 2013
Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs) present a new set of concerns for first responders. Join us for an informational and hands-on safety training session on electric vehicles and gaseous fuels. Learn about gaseous fueling stations, station safety systems, how to assess a hybrid electric vehicle, propane vehicle, or natural gas vehicle accident scene, and much more! This training session is aimed to prepare first responders with the knowledge they need to approach automotive accidents involving AFVs safely. Each class is a one day 8 hour course - the first half of the day in the classroom and the second half of the day working directly with the vehicles.
