Fire Officer Academy 24-02 canceled

The impact of Hurricane Helene across the state will be felt for the days, weeks, months, and years to come. Communities across South Carolina are hurting and resources are stretched to the max.

Safety is our top priority. After extensive conversation between Executive Director Jamie Helms and State Fire Marshal Jonathan Jones, the Fire Officer Academy: The Company Officer 24-02 has been canceled.

The applicants selected to attend FOA 24-02 are eligible to move into the FOA 25-01 cohort. Students, keep an eye on your email in the coming months for more information.

We ask that you continue to pray for the Saluda County Fire Service and the loved ones of those who died in the line of duty, and all those who have a hand in responding to devastation of Hurricane Helene.
