The South Carolina Fire Academy is soliciting proposals from interested members of the South Carolina fire service (or allied organizations) for 2-day (12-14 hours) instructional programs that would be of benefit to the emergency response community in South Carolina. Selected programs will be offered to students at the 2013 Southeastern Fire School occurring the weekend of March 9 & 10, 2013. Your proposal should include the course name, a brief description of course objectives and a course syllabus; as well as a description of any personnel, equipment, funding or other resources to be supplied by the S.C. Fire Academy. Proposals must be received at the South Carolina Fire Academy’s Columbia office no later than 5:00pm on Friday, September 21, 2012 to be considered. All timely submittals will be reviewed by the 2013 Southeastern Fire School curriculum committee. The responsible party for each accepted proposal will be notified no later than Oct. 31, 2012.
