Congratulations, Ninety Six Fire Department

Ninety Six Fire Department has been recognized for its dedication to public safety and community service, being selected as one of only 150 departments nationwide to receive the State Farm and National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program grant.

The grant, totaling $10,000, will be used to purchase a new skid unit, an essential piece of equipment designed to enhance the department’s response capabilities. The new unit will allow firefighters to operate more efficiently in areas that are difficult to access with traditional fire engines, like rural or densely wooded areas.

The grant not only enhances operational readiness but also reinforces the department’s mission of protecting lives and property throughout the Ninety Six community.
