Beaufort County Chief’s Association is hosting Corley Moore on August 8 and 9, 2024, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at University of South Carolina Bluffton. Corley is on the job as Battalion Chief in Moore, Oklahoma, and is the founder of Firehouse Vigilance. The foundation of the course is tried and proven techniques for handling conflict, discipline, poor attitudes and bad behavior. The goal of the class is to give understanding as to why these situations occur, and how to handle them in an efficient manner. Designed for firefighters of all levels who want to improve their ability to be effective when having confrontations, disagreements, setting expectations and holding people accountable.
