Apply to receive a Grain Rescue Device from Clemson Ag Extension

Clemson Agricultural Extension has received funding from the South Carolina Corn Board to provide grain rescue devices to two South Carolina fire and rescue departments.

Grain bin entrapments are among the most dangerous agricultural emergencies firefighters may encounter, and specialized equipment is critical to safely rescue victims.

Departments interested in receiving the equipment will be able to apply through an upcoming application process. Applications will be reviewed by a committee, and two fire and rescue teams will be selected to receive the devices.
