Folks, The application period for the second semester of National Fire Academy resident classes opened October 15. The application period closes December 15. The second semester includes those classes scheduled from April 1 – September 30, 2016. December 15th is also the closing date for the Managing Officer (MO) program. This is the one time per year that you can apply. Information about the MO program can be found at: http://www.usfa.fema.gov/training/nfa/programs/mo_program.html All students are required to register for a Student Identification Number (SID). This number is used in place of the Social Security Number on the General Admissions Application form.
