The SC Forestry Commission is currently accepting applications for the 2018 Volunteer Fire Assistance (VFA)/National Fire Plan (NFP) Grant. This grant is often referred to as the "Forestry" grant within the fire service. Application deadline is October 1, 2018. Click on the link below to access documents on SCFC website. Print out and mail in original paperwork. Remember, in order to be eligible, the fire department must serve a population of less than 10,000 people, and must also have at least 75% of the firefighters as volunteers.
