Fire Officer Academy: The Company Officer is an initiative designed to further develop leaders in the fire service. The program utilizes a blended learning environment – both in and outside the classroom – so that students have both the knowledge and hands-on experiences necessary to succeed as a company officer with their department. Those who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate from the South Carolina Fire Academy. Participants must be Fire Officer I certified prior to enrolling in the program.
