Westview-Fairforest Fire Department has openings for full-time firefighter / EMT-B (preferred). This position will respond to emergencies including fire suppression and emergency medical response calls. The positions will work 48 hours on and 96 hours off rotation shift schedule. Qualifications are: Must be 18 years of age, High School Diploma or GED, Valid SC Class Driver’s License (with insurable driving record), IFSAC Firefighter II, EMT- B (preferred – if no EMT must receive within 1 year), EVDT and Pump Ops 1 (preferred), able to work a work 48 hrs. on and 96 hrs. off rotation shift. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Physical, TB Test, Drug Screening and SLED Background Check.
