The City of Conway Fire Department is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Training Coordinator/Fire Captain. This position performs technical and administrative work, coordinates and implements an effective fire service training program to help ensure the life safety of all fire personnel and meet OSHA and other training requirements. This position also serves as the City’s safety training officer, promotes fire prevention in the community, responds to fire, emergency medical, rescue and other emergencies. This position works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods and sequences and reports to the Assistant Fire Chief. Supervision is exercised over subordinate personnel.
