Westview-Fairforest Fire Department is searching for Part-Time Firefighters/NREMT- Basics (preferred). These positions respond to emergencies including fire suppression and emergency medical response calls. Positions will work a 24-hour shift or can work additional hours as needed/call-in (PRN) schedule.

Qualifications for these positions are:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Valid SC Class E (or equivalent) Drivers License
• HS Diploma or GED
• IFSAC Firefighter II
• Haz-Mat Ops (min)
• EVDT (SCFA)
• Pump Ops I (SCFA) (preferred)
• Current NREMT-B Cert (minimum)
• Current CPR Cert
• 2 years Firefighting Experience
• Capability to work 24-hour on and 48 hours off rotation shift

Candidate must successfully pass a Physical, Drug Screening and Background Check after the time of offer.

Salary

$11 per hour for 24 hours or hours worked each shift. While there are no Benefits with part-time – however, we do offer Holiday pay at time and one half an hour for part-time employees who work holidays per our policy schedule.
