About the position: This position is grant-funded through August 28th, 2025 Works 15 hours per week Conducts yearly inspections on all commercial buildings within the district Collaborates with the Fire Chief on any new construction, assisting with plan review and code compliance Creates pre-plans for all commercial buildings in the district Enter pre-plans into department software Train other department personnel on accessing pre-plans Review current fire inspection policies and provide insight on needed updates Benefits: Salary of $20 per hour Participation in SC Police Officer’s Retirement System - Those not eligible for PORS will be placed in SC State Retirement Flexible scheduling
