MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED; Valid Paramedic Certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support Provider certifications; Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record. Obtain South Carolina license within 30 days of relocation; and Must obtain Class E license within one-year from date of hire. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Departmental testing may be administered during interview; Subject to psychological and physical health screenings; Subject to criminal background check; Subject to drug and alcohol testing; and Considered emergency essential position and subject to report to work during any declared emergency situations(s). Ability to obtain SC Paramedic Certification within one-year from date of hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one-year from date or hire; Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) certification within one-year from date of hire; Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification within one-year from date of hire; EMS Vehicle Operator Safety (EVOS) certification within one-year from date of hire; National Incident Management System certifications (ICS 100, 200, 700, 800) completed within 60 days of hire.
