If you're looking for more than just a place to work, Clear Spring Fire & Rescue offers the opportunity to be part of a department that values its people as much as the community it serves. If you're committed to making a difference and want to build your career with a department that invests in our team, we encourage you to apply. The primary function of the Firefighter is to respond to calls for assistance from the community for emergencies to include but not limited to structural fires, motor vehicle accidents, calls for emergency medical services, and other disaster situations. Under the direct supervision of the company officer, this position also participates in fire prevention and inspection activities, equipment and station maintenance, and training dealing with all phases of fire suppression, prevention, inspection, rescue and emergency operations. As public servants and stewards of public resources, Firefighters represent the Clear Spring Fire Rescue in a professional manner while in and outside of the Department. They employ effective interpersonal communication skills and work to advance a positive corporate culture that supplements the Departments recruitment, retention, fundraising and public relations efforts.
