Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire District is an ISO Class 2 combination department that covers 25 square miles, located just south of the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach. Our department is committed to providing excellent service from four stations and 54 career firefighters. Our career staff consists of three shifts, working on a 24/48 rotation. Our department provides both Fire and EMS coverage to the citizens we protect with three ALS ambulances, and four ALS fire apparatus. We respond to approximately 6,000 calls per year.
