The Mayo Fire Department is hiring part time firefighters starting at $11 an hour and drivers at $12 an hour. The following benefits are available to the personnel that are hired: * A laid back atmosphere * Enjoyable co-workers * Great in house training and volunteer training on every Monday night * We will pay for most training classes through the Fire Academy * We have 2 Spartan front line Pumping apparatus that are 2013 models in great condition * Hand tools and equipment are top of the line, such as Hurst Edraulics, brand new New York hooks and married sets on every truck * Our department is making strides to be one of the best in our county * ISO Class 3 * South Carolina Fire Safe Community Award for 2020 WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOME FIREFIGHTERS THAT ARE AGGRESIVE AND LOVE THE FIRE SERVICE!
