MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED. Three (3) years combined post high school work or education experience. Valid Driver's License with a safe driving Obtain South Carolina license within 30 days of relocation. Must obtain Class E license within one-year from date of hire. Successful completion of Fire Department pre-employment testing. Subject to psychological and physical health screenings. Subject to criminal background check, drug, and alcohol testing. Considered emergency essential position and subject to report to work during any declared emergency situations(s). Successful completion of approved recruit school and obtain NFPA 1001 firefighter certification. Obtain Emergency Medical Technician certification within one (1) year from date of hire. NIMS certifications (ICS 100, 200, 700, 800) completed within 60 days of hire.
