Westview-Fairforest Fire Department has openings for full-time firefighters / NREMT-B (preferred). These positions will respond to emergencies including fire suppression and emergency medical response calls. The positions will work 48 hours on and 96 hours off rotation shift schedule.

Qualifications for the positions are: Must be 18 years of age, High School Diploma or GED, Valid SC Class E Driver’s License (providing a 3-year clear, insurable driving record), IFSAC Firefighter II, NREMT- Basic Certification (min. preferred – if no NREMT must receive within 1 year of hire date), EVDT and Pump Ops 1 (preferred) Capability to work 48 hours on and 96 hours off rotation shift. Candidates must be able to successfully pass the following after the job offer is made - Pre-Employment Physical, TB & Drug Screening and a SLED Background Check

Salary: $47,301.06 annually for FF/Without NREMT - $49666.11 annually for FF/NREMT
