The City of Conway Fire Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Firefighter I. This position responds to fire alarms and other emergency calls as required, and performs the necessary functions and operations to efficiently and effectively protect the lives and property of those in need of assistance; operates fire apparatus at the scene of emergencies and provides medical assistance when necessary, and performs related work as required. This position works according to set procedures under close supervision. Firefighter I - Non-Certified - No experience needed. We will provide a full recruit academy and the EMT certification Firefighter/EMT - Accelerated pop-out recruit academy for required in-house courses.
