MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED. Three (3) years combined post high school work or education experience. Valid Driver's License with a safe driving Obtain South Carolina license within 30 days of relocation. Must obtain Class E license within one-year from date of hire. Valid Emergency Medical Technician certification required. Valid Basic Life Support Provider certification required. Firefighter I required (NFPA 1001 compliant curriculum completion/certification). Firefighter II preferred (NFPA 1001 compliant curriculum completion/certification). SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Departmental testing may be administered during interview. Subject to psychological and physical health screenings. Subject to criminal background check. Subject to drug and alcohol testing. NIMS certifications (ICS 100, 200, 700, 800) completed within 60 days of hire. Considered emergency essential position and subject to report to work during any declared emergency situations(s).
