BOILING SPRINGS FIRE DISTRICT, GREENVILLE, SC Accepting applications for qualified candidates for Firefighter/EMT Minimum Qualifications: Candidates shall be 18 years old have earned a high school diploma or equivalent prior to making application. Must attain NFPA Firefighter II certification and EMT-Basic certification within the probationary period. Must successfully pass probationary evaluations to be retained. Ability to read, write, and comprehend material at a level appropriate for the task. Valid South Carolina driver license required and must be physically capable of operating vehicles safely. Must be available for emergency call-back off-duty. Eighteen-month probation period upon employment offer. Upon successful completion of probationary period, employees are eligible to receive college education tuition assistance.
