The Edisto Beach Fire Department is now accepting applications for the position of, part-time starting at 12.00 per hour and full-time Fire Fighter at $11.76 per hour. Full-time firefighter positions offer a benefits package that includes employer-paid medical insurance and paid training. Applications may be filled out at our headquarters station, located at 2414 Murray Street Edisto, SC 29438, between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age, High school diploma or GED, Valid SC driver's license, FF 2 certification, Pump Ops 1 certification, and a medical certification of First responder or above. Applications should include a 10-year driving record, a copy of his/her transcript and fire certifications. Applicants will be required to pass a physical agility test, background check, and physical/drug screening.
