We are hiring: Entry Level Firefighter!! Lake Cunningham Fire Department is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Firefighter. The department offers a very competitive benefits package to include health, life, dental, vision insurance, including family insurance, all paid by the fire department. Vacation and sick leave benefits, as well as and SC Police Officer Retirement. Additional benefits are available at the expense of the employee. Minimum Requirements: 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED. Candidates must pass a departmental physical, drug screening, and have a minimum of a Class D driver’s license with a clean driving record. The candidate must have successfully completed the following training classes: IFSAC Firefighter II or the ability to get reciprocity from the SC Fire Academy. NREMT-B is preferred. Additional training will be required after employment begins. All of which will be paid for by the fire department.
