Side by Side Burn Request

The following form will be used to request the SCSFA side-by-side burn. Once received, a member of our staff will get in touch.

Please request the side-by-side no less than 30 days prior to the event scheduled date. These events must be coordinated with multiple state agencies in order to ensure the events are completed successfully. Failure to do so may result in the event being shut down by a state agency at the beginning of or during the event. We all want these Side by Side demonstrations to be great educational and public relations events for your community.

Side By Side Burn Request Form

Please provide the name of the event (if applicable).

Please let us know the address of where the event is to take place.

Please provide a brief description of the event and how the side-by-side burn will be incorporated.

Please enter first and last name of the contact person for the event.

Please provide a number we can reach the contact person on the day of the event.

Please enter the email of the contact person for the event.

Please provide a brief of the target audience of the burn.

Please list the number of people expected to attend.



Please provide the name of the local fire department

The requesting fire department will be required to replace select materials used for the side-by-side burn. The materials that will be needed prior completion of the burn: 8 sheets of 4x8 drywall, 2 sheets of 4x8 plexiglass and 2 smoke alarms. Many fire departments contact their local hardware dealer or closest big box home improvement store to see if they will donate the materials.
