Past President

I was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina. In 2003, I started volunteering with the Lexington County Fire Service and then was able to go full time shortly after. In 2007, I became a firefighter with the Irmo Fire District. I have been at Irmo ever since and have risen up through the ranks to Battalion Chief.
I have an Associate’s Degree from Midlands Technical College in Marketing and I also have a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Kentucky University in General Studies in Fire and Life Safety with a Minor in Fire Protection Administration. I completed the SCSFA Leadership Institute program in 2012. In 2016, I was placed on the Finance & Audit Committee where I served until being voted in as 4th Vice President for the Firefighters' Association. I also serve as the assistant Regional 6 Coordinator for the state’s Firefighter Mobilization program.
I am married to my lovely wife, Lindsay, and we have four kids. When I am not home or at work, I am usually at a pond fishing or in the woods hunting with one of my kids.
It is truly an honor to be able to serve each member of this great Association and please let me know if there is ever anything I can do for you!
